Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology
'There was a man called Neferpesdjet, who was a bold commoner . . .'. 'Let me be given sweetness, let me be given love . . .'. How do the stories continue? Join a creative writing workshop at the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology that uses fragments of stories found on Ancient Egyptian papyri as inspiration for your own writing. Led by Ayshah Johnston, novelist and Caribbean historian. Part of Camden's Black History Season 'Oral Traditions'. There will be a follow up session on Saturday 22 January to read through final compositions and feedback will be given between sessions.
